Dear students,

We would like to inform you that in order to improve the services provided by UNic Library & Information Centre, as from today we have implemented a new OpenAthens based authentication system for accessing electronic resources (Databases, eBooks, eJournals) from outside the University premises (off-campus).

To gain off-campus access to the Library e-resources, you just need to sign in using your UNic email (Office 365) credentials. When you click on an e-resource link found on the Library website, you will be directed to the OpenAthens authentication page. You can use your Office 365 credentials (UNic email & password) to sign in and gain access.

If you forgot your credentials or if you have any other difficulty in accessing e-resources,you can submit your question online through the Student Intranet feedback form.

Alternatively, you can contact the UNic Computer Center by e-Mail ( or by phone +357 22 841586. In the last case, you should be able to provide us with your personal information in order to verify your account (i.e first name, surname, father's name, date of birth, passport/ID number, address, name of high school).
